Yes, that is where I get the root warning when using my start script. Here
is all the info I can think to give on my setup.

Start script:
<SNIP>
imapproxyd="/sbin/imapproxy -f /etc/imapproxy.conf"
<SNIP>
start() {
        echo -n $"Starting $prog: "
        daemon $imapproxyd
        RETVAL=$?
        echo
        [ $RETVAL = 0 ] && touch /var/lock/subsys/imapproxy
        return $RETVAL
}
<SNIP>

also tried from command line:
/sbin/imapproxy -f /etc/imapproxy.conf

[root at webmail log]# /sbin/imapproxy -f /etc/imapproxy.conf

</RANT>
