[imp] moving IMP to a different server

I believe so.... if I didn't have the env variables set, I'd think it would
affect my test php file as well, and not just IMP...
If I do a phpinfo, I see all the variables...
yeah, just double-checked, everything looks good there..

Are you sure you have the oracle magic environment variables (ORACLE_HOME,
etc)
defined in the environment where you are starting the new server software?
