Warning: Mailbox is empty...

When a user accesses his mailbox, and the mailbox is empty, he 
obtains the following annoying warning message:

Warning: Mailbox is empty (errflg=1) in Unknown on line 0

which is likely to produce panic in the user.

Is it possible (and simple) to remove this message?
