If we have:

                          +------->  IMAP Server A
                          |
  Client --->   Proxy  ---+------->  IMAP Server B

Is there any way to get the client to send both the passwords to the
proxy, along one IMAP connection?  What I had in mind was the the proxy
rewrote the namespace for the two servers, into one folder set, so that
the client just saw one server.

I wonder if that is making the proxy too smart, but it would a really
cool feature to pull off - I'd love to use that to have a seemingly common
store for my work and personal email.
