Register_globals is set to on.

Check the file php.ini (often is on /usr/local/lib if you have a Unix box) ,
inside find the variable register_globals and verify that is On, if not set
it.

Then restart the http server ( if you have apache, just execute apachectl
restart)...

I hope this be enough to fix it.
