[imp] IMP Session dropping instantly.

Hmmm. I don't understand how that would help. But seeing as I'm stuck, I
tried it. No difference.

Do I have to setup any special configuration with PEAR? I used the one
that came with php-4.0.4-pl1. The instructions were a bit too vague for
me. I looked around for PEAR info online and all I could find were Windows
users using it... which didn't help me to understand what to do with it.

Thanks.

If you reload the page, does that become 2?

I got the impression you were using IMP 2.2, in which case you don't need to
worry about PEAR at all. However, if you're using IMP 2.3, then you need PEAR
from php4 cvs or a recent cvs snapshot.
