[imp] getting weird now...

Thanks Doug, I did that and sure enough it worked...trying to figure out
what exactly the problem was
in the conf.php file.  Appreciate everyone's help!

Do you have a default config? I was having lots of problems and started with
a default conf.php and slowly went through changing options.  that may help
also as a debug method. (unless you already have a default one :) )
