Well researched Mark! ;-)

Are you totally sure that you are running the latest PEAR though?
Unfortunately, I couldn't locate a CVS tag in my
/usr/local/lib/php/Mail/sendmail.php, otherwise we could compare versions.
There have been a few very important updates to PEAR that are in PHP-cvs, so
make sure you are running that.

Anil

Subject: Eureka! (Sort of) -- narrowing down of BOTH of my email address problems

Ok guys,
allright.. it APPEARS both of my problems are the same. I removed my name
(doug moore) from my preferences and now my email works. So something is
screwed up when a name is specified with the email address (i hope that makes
sense :( ) like

doug moore <lordscarlet@idledreams.net> i

is not friendly with my IMP, but

lordscarlet@idledreams.net

is... any ideas? is this an IMP problem or a problem with my
IMAP/endmail/something setup?

doug.

Thanks Anil, that worked. I feel a bit silly, I'd just gotten the latest PEAR
cvs a few days ago so I thought I had the latest. After updating it a few
minutes ago everything's honky dory for now.
