[imp] database connections (specific configuration)

I would like to have a specific with my webmail. I would like to have my
webmail in two different machines sharing the same database. I know this is
posible and simple, the problem is that I would like that the two webmail
will be sharing only the data corresponding to the user preferences and
adressbooks but they have to save the session information in different
tables, one per webmail working. Is this posible?
