None of this has anything to do with IMP; IMP is just an IMAP client
(like, say, Eudora or Outlook Express) that happens to be written in
PHP and deployed via the Web. 

Managing your users is the same as it would be if you *weren't* using
IMP; if your IMAP server uses Unix users, add Unix users, if it has
its own database of users, add to that, and so forth. 

I'm not sure what tidying mailboxes is, but I suspect that's something
that the users do through IMP.

Forwarding is a function of your mail transport agent; most Unix ones
use a ".forward" file in the user's home directory.
