You are right, we also upgraded our sendmail and writing the config.mc a 
typing error occoured:

MASQUERADE_AS('sbox.tugraz.at')dnl
should be
MASQUERADE_AS(`sbox.tugraz.at')dnl

we saw it this morning, but it was to late :-(
