Compose button doesn't work, or generate errors ...

Slowly getting through setting up -HEAD ... click on compose, and it just
refreshs the screen ... looking at error_log, nothing there ... looking at
access_log, all I get is:

I've checked to confirm that javascript is enabled, just in case that
might be the problem, and it is ...

I've done a brief scan of the archives, and nothing appears to jump out in
there either ...
