In  my  opinion,  mod_ssl is much easier to install and configure than
Apache-SSL.  There  is  an  excellent  INSTALL  file with step-by-step
instructions  on  how  to  build  Apache  with mod_ssl and PHP support
included in the mod_ssl distribution.
