[imp] secure IMP connections

I am using ssl certificates for apache.

your second question, the only thing I can think of is if you change the
standard driver type that your local mailer uses to store mail on the box.
the standard is unix which is in plain text. the mbx is basically in binary
format. I am not completely sure that the local mailer can do this for you
or not. what I mentioned above is imap talk and how an imap server can
create/store mail objects on the server so I am not sure if let's say
procmail can do more for you or not.

Subject: [imp] secure IMP connections

IMP/Horde list members,

I am running the latest version of IMP/Horde on RH7.

I am curious if anybody is running a secure client to server
connection using IMP/Horde on RH7. By secure I mean encryption
at the client and server ends to avoid viewing data in transit.

The other question I have is about the mail items stored on the server.
Is there anyway to encrypt that, so that other users who have root access
will not be able to view the physical files via say telnet ?
Is such a thing possible with IMP/Horde on the server side ?
