gettext, php and glibc

Hey!

Basically, this is not an IMP bug, but maybe someone ran into that problem
too. I am usign rh7 and have recently upgraded to new glibc (2.2.2). They
have modified something with locale handling and now php's (4.0.4pl1, tried
4.0.5 as well) gettext functions don't work at all :(  I managed to get some
output from gettext() by setlocale("LC_ALL", "ru_RU") before gettext calls
-- however, the russian character set it uses is not the one I need.
Anyway, this is not a good problem solution.. Any ideas?
