Hello!

You did not compile imap suppurt for apache. You need imap support to
access IMAP and POP3 servers. Write private to me, if you don't know how
to compile C-Client + PHP + MySQL + Apache.

I don't know... IT SHOULD work, "user", "pass". I don't know how Outlook
logs in? :)))

Subject: Timeout sending from IMP 2.2.4 (sendmail 8.11.2)

Using IMP 2.2.4 and sendmail 8.11.2, I get exactly the same
symptom that Peter Erickson was already describing on Jan 15th.
Has anyone looked at it or made any progress? I am keenly
interested in resolving this.

 Thank you in advance,

Juan Leon

Subject: compose.php3 and php 4.0.4pl1

I have long had problems using compose.php3 with php 4.0.4pl1. This is

with either IMP 2.2.3 or 2.2.4. I submitted a bug (#638) to the
IMP bugzilla,
but it has seen no action. I was hoping somebody here might have some
enlightenment for me in this regard. I include the notes attached to
the
bug so far. Thanks!

Juan Leon
------------------------

When installing php 4.0.4pl1 (instead of 4.0.3), the compose
"Send Message" fails with "undefined index" because the value
of actionID is received as "\r\nSendMessage" instead of just
"Send Message", and there is of course no action in the $actions
table to match that value.

Hmmm... what version (specifically) of Horde and IMP are you using?

------- Additional Comments From jl+@cs.cmu.edu 03/22/01 13:00 -------
Sorry!

I tried this with horde 1.2.3 and 1.2.4, and with imp 2.2.3 and 2.2.4.
1.2.3/2.2.3 were fine with PHP 4.0.3pl1, but not with php 4.0.4pl1.
I have not yet tried 1.2.4/2.2.4 with php 4.0.3pl1, but 1.2.4/2.2.4
did not work wiht php 4.0.4pl1.

Thanks again!

------- Additional Comments From jl+@cs.cmu.edu 03/22/01 17:58 -------
OK, I have now tried horde 1.2.3 and imp 2.2.4 with php 4.0.3pl1, and
I can confirm that this works correctly also. So it is definitely
php 4.0.4pl1 that triggers the problem in horde/imp.

In fact, it triggers at least another problem. Under php 4.0.4pl1,
horde/imp 1.2.3/2.2.3 as well as 1.2.4/2.2.4 will send two copies of
every message composed using compose.php3. This problem is also not
present when using php 4.0.3pl1.

I must say, either PHP or horde/imp or both are pretty easiloy
perturbed!

Thanks again for your help.

Just for clarity, it's php that you need IMAP support in. mod_imap in Apache is
for dealing with server-side imagemaps, and won't do you any good. :)
