Sounds like it'smaybe trying to make the folders outside
of 'INBOX', trying making a new folder called INBOX.test
if that works something odd is going on in the imp configs.

I solved the Problem by upgrading my PHP from php-4.0.5RC5 to php-4.0.5RC6

That's not the only change to mstore.c. Why don't you just grab all of libmcal
