sendmail setup

I have sendmail 8.11.8 rpm on linux 7. Have gone thru most of the details 
with the SIOG but still dont feel like i am satisfied with it. Am still not 
confident with the description. I am looking for some step by step guide. 
All the material i have is too much theory and is all jumbled up. If i can 
get the step by step guide i can sum up and arrange all the theoritical 
details accordingly.
