Using ldap and php3 compilation

Hello,

I want to use the ldap tools in imp, but my problem is to compile php3 with
ldap support : I'm on a solaris2.7 
I have tried the ldap3.3 from umich, but the problem is that there is no
shared libs build and while launching apache it complains about an libldap.so.2
missing.

I've tried to compile php3 with openldap2.0.17 it does not work (does not find
a function while loading modphp3).

Any hint on what to do ?
