trying to attach a file

When i try to attach a message with the mail i get this error. The size 
allowed in the php.ini is 2MB.

Warning: Undefined variable: attachments_size in
/var/www/html/horde/imp/compose.php3 on line 921

What might be the reason?

Your attachment is larger than 2MB.  Increase the limit in php.ini.
