[imp] Does latest cvs checkout of horde/imp work with php3?

Hello,

As far as I know (and I have tried to install, believe me), 2.3.x only works
with PHP 4 ***LAST*** version... By the way I counldn't install because the
CVS on php.net is off...

 Is this possible (running imp 2.3.x) or I must stay with
 2.2 stable versions?

 PS: If someone could help on my previous post (Ldap problem)
     I wouldn't need 2.3.x, as my problems with LDAP are
     related to 2.2.x version.
