no refresh after composing message

Hi,

it seems for any strange reason that the window won't refresh anymore after 
invoking the compose link.
At least this happens with an IE 5.5 and imp configured to compose messages in 
a popup window.

I would like to find out if this problem could be solved by replacing the link 
'<a href="javascript:open....' 
with 
'<a href="#" onclick="open...;return false">'
but the registry.php only allows to set the href attribute not to define 
additional attributes.
