POP3 and Attachments

I remember reading on the list a while back that attachments don't work
through POP3 and there was really nothing that could be fixed. I was
wondering if there was anything that can be done about it or is it still
recommended to just use IMAP?

c-client doesn't get the part structure back from a POP server. So there isn't
much we can do, since it won't let us fetch individual parts. IMAP is much
better for lots of reasons, anyway.

I don't think that's a good general solution, and storing messages directly to
mailboxes is kind of ugly. I think a general notification system that can send
emails, fax, etc., is a great idea, though.
I talked to Max at one point about having a Horde Task Scheduler - something
that could store all Horde repeating tasks, and be invoked by cron or windows
scheduled tasks - whatever the OS scheduler is - and run all Horde jobs
(alarms, reminder emails, etc.) that should be triggered. So that you wouldn't
need to be logged in to get meeting reminders, etc.

But even a api method to send an email instead of storing it shouldn't take too
much time. At least if you "got to bed" with the imp code. ;-)

Sounds good!

That doesn't need to be tied to IMP - see problem.php also...
