[imp] Change Password

    Unfortunelly I'm not running qmail. My systems is: postfix as SMTP, Courier IMAPD as imap, horde/IMP as webmail. All these folks have MySQL as backend for preferences management/storage and accounts storage.

Did you say before you were running courier, or just courier-imap?  
Are you using qmail for the SMTP server?
