refresh option problems cvs-08/23

Hello,

I realize I am using a cvs version but would like to bring this to someone's
attention anyways.  The refresh option appears to not work intermittently.  Very
weird.  It had never worked for me until recently and now its on and off.  If I
sent myself an email, it would never pop-up and say "new message" but when I
subscribed to this mailing list, it said "new message".

Any known issues with this ?
