login problem

Hi list,
I can't login me at the IMP page: it tells the cause is the timeout

sendmail isn't on the same machine as IMP and when i attempt to log me =
as pons, i have an another user(in fact many caracters not an known =
user!!) in sendmail's log files=20

if someone can help me, it would be cool!!


PS:
I want to use only pop3 and i have specifie it in the defaults.php3 =
file:  $default->port =3D'110' and $default->servtype=3D'pop3'
