really missing imp, looking for help, clues, hints

Hello,

I recently upgraded IMP, HORDE, Apache, PHP, IMAP and
now I'm having troubles.

Here's my set up:

Apache 1.3.20
IMP 2.2.6
Horde 1.2.6
PHP 4.0.8-dev

RPMS:
imap-2000c-10
imap-devel-2000c-10

Using PHP 4.0.6 I was unable to compile in IMAP
support. With PHP 4.0.8-dev I had success. I'm able to
log into IMP, and reply to email, but when I try to
create a new email message I get a window with only
"Compose a message" at the top and nothing else. No
fields. My apache log files show
[notice] child pid 7196 exit signal Segmentation fault

I've followed the steps provided at
http://www.php.net/imap

Could it be my version of IMAP?

Any Ideas? TIA
