Imp logs out on Internet Explorer

Hi!

Imp on our system has started doing a funny thing.

This problem seems to be just in Internet Explorer, and happens with ssl
and without.

After loging in, if you click on a message to look at in the inbox, Imp
logs you out!

If you click on compose, the compose window comes up then a moment later
disappears.

I looked at the faqs and list archives and have found nothing to help me
out.

Please help.  I am so confused.
