Yeah.. that is what I figured.  It seemed group permissions were not 
enough..

Ahh.. you da man. :)  You made my day.  :)  Ok.. I think I am going to 
try tackling upgrading to IMP 2.3, and using the SMTP feature since I 
know that it works as expected (at least, it works on the sendmail side 
as seen by Mailman's config).
