[imp] IMP and Sendmail

I would like to install my IMP with a sendmail MTA. I know that i only have
to worry about the IMAP server I have to use, but this is the question: as
Maildir format is not supported by sendmail and I used Courier-Imap that run
wioth this mailbox format, what new IMAP server should I choose for my new
configuration to allow sendmail to deliver messages on the mailboxes and
IMAP to retrieve them?
