[imp] IMP and Sendmail

 sendmail does not do final delivery, the LDA does. That's the program
 specified as Mlocal in sendmail.cf. One possibility for a maildir-aware
 LDA is procmail.  Another one is maildrop, see
 http://www.flounder.net/~mrsam/maildrop/.

 Unfortunately, the only free imapd out there supporting mbox is UW imap.
