[imp] another issue with new pref framework

I think I know, why this happened. When new Identity() is called it checks if 
there are identities. If not it creates a standard identity from the prefs 
defaults. As the retrieving of prefs failed it created a new standard identity, 
stored it and overwrote the already created identities.
