[imp] Login config problem: Horde 1.3.5-cvs OK, Imp 2.3.7-cvs not

While I didn't explicitly say so before, I've already tried both authentication
methods -- the first two lines of registry.php commented out, and the lines made
active.

The logs and descriptions in my message were with the first two lines commented
out. When I remove the comments to make the lines active, the login page I
described is replaced by the "mail" login page, but it still fails. I've
described that more completely in a reply to Chuck Hagenbuch.
