Thanks. I'll take a look at it.
Jan, assuming this is correct or pretty close, what about incorporating it. 
Also, someone sent in a patch to execute the filters every time the screen 
refreshes, which is another complaint I've gotten from my users. Any chance 
of that going in? I'd like to stay as close to the mainstream as I can, 
while still satisfying my users.
