[imp] Performance of IMP/host machine?

Any idea how it compares to Zend Accelerator performance-wise?
Do you see that big a difference between PHP w/ APC and w/o APC?
It would certainly be nice not to have to spend the bunches of money on
something that comes with a per cpu license.
