[imp] login problem with cvs-HEAD IMP (SOLVED) [SASL, Cyrus, CRAM-MD5]

Found it.

It was not a problem with IMP and perhaps not with PHP neigther.
Although newer PHP is using MD5 by default if it finds it.

The problem was with SASL on Cyrus server.
SASL was trying to authentify via sasldb using CRAM-MD5, even though I 
condifugred Cyrus to use PAM for auth.

SASL insisted on using MD5/SASLDB though.
The fix was to delete the md5 auth libraries from SASL plugins directory 
and all works well.

You're right, AND is missing currently but is planned to be supported.

Max, did you already have done any work on this or do you have any design 
goals in mind?
