Problems reincarnating the Trash folder

I'm using a CVS version of imp 2.2.7 from a couple of months ago and I'm
seeing some really odd behavior concerning the Trash folder...

As a new user, I go into the options (first time), check to move stuff to
the trash folder, and save the options (thus creating the Trash folder
itself) and everything is fine.

If I delete the folder by hand... and then go through the above to
recreate it, Imp says everything worked ok, but it lies.  If I go look in
"Folders" the reincarnated trash folder has not been recreated... odd.

If I go into folders and Expand the folder list, then click the checkbox
besides the INBOX, then do a "create folder" for Trash, it does create the
folder... and I can see it from my "Options" --> "Deleting and Moving
Messages" menu.


Very odd behavior... Has anyone seen this?
