Can't see my emails

My problem is this:

When I log into IMP, it displays my Inbox, but it is empty, but I know it 
has over 100 messages, also I can view all my folders, but when I open one, 
it is empty. The funny thing is, when I do a search in the Inbox for all 
mail sent to me, it comes back with 1 of whatever and shows about four 
pages worth, but the pages are all empty, no messages are displayed.

I have configured everything twice, I have checked that the IMAP server is 
not at fault, but it works with the IMP demo on the Horde site. I am at a 
loss as to what to do. Here is some system info:

I have installed everything that is required and all went well, everything 
seems to have been compiled into PHP and it's all listed. I ran the 
horde/test.php and my system passed, everything seems okay. I have the 
following versions of the packages:

Horde 2.0 RC3
IMP 3.0 RC3
PHP 4.1.0
IMAP 2001a

This is installed on a just recently built RedHat 7.2 box.
