session and sql Drivers

Hey everyone im having some problems with my drivers...
 
Im trying to use a MySQL database when i do this and try to connect with
it I get this error:
 
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: quote() in
/var/www/html/horde/turba/lib/Driver/sql.php on line 197
 
I was able to use session instead of sql but i really need it to store
the prefences.. has anyone else had this problem before?? Thanks a lot
