[imp] Horde/IMP/Turba RC4

I have just now installed these RC4 versions of horde/imp/turba.
Almost everything went smoothly, but it's unclear from any of the docs
how to enable options/preferences (personal info, server info,
filters, signatures, etc.).  At first I thought that Turba might
manage this, but it seems to only be intended for address books.

In earlier versions (at least version 2.3.7 of IMP), the
options/preferences were managed through IMP ... but now there seems
to be the necessity for some sort of add-on for this.

Or am I totally confused?
