Compose "save a copy in" checkbox broke?

In IMP 3.0 final, when composing a message, unchecking the "Save a copy
in" checkbox doesn't seem to prevent a copy from being saved in the
selected folder.

I poked around a bit in compose.php, and didn't see anything that looked
for and acted on that form value (although I'm not that familiar with PHP).

A bug?
