I was hoping 3.0 to be easier, but it wasn't my experience. Your script
(test.php3) says pear is installed but not new enough, but I think their is
a bug because I can't find Pear anywhere on my server. I have look manually,
I have whereis's the poop out of it...!

I mean Pear, and their were 2 more that I don't remember now that 3 required
that 2.0 didn't...

I tried this link, but it says to simply backup your current directory, and
throw these files in... I need it all set up because I do not have Pear al
ALL. What good will it do me to make a dir and throw it in if the system is
not setup with the correct directives to find and process what's is that
directory??

Subject: Strange new imap folders created

Hi,

I've just upgraded to the release versions of horde2.0, imp3.0 and
turba1.0 after having been running the cvs version for a while (last
updated a couple of months ago).

I've started to get weird imap folders (named like äs2¼R…@) created ever so often
since the upgrade.

I'm running php 4.0.6 + 4.1's pear plus UW imapd.

I never noticed anything like this with the cvs versions.

Cheers,
Tim

PEAR gets automatically installed with you php distribution unless you
compiled it with --without-pear.
Check the page /horde/test.php?mode=phpinfo for the include_dir value, this
is where you pear resides.

I would like to thank all the horde development team for this impressive
version. Everything is running great (for a change) on my installation.
Just one quick question, how do I allow users to sign a message before it is
sent out using gnupg?

Thank you for any hints

You can add icons for any horde app by editing config/menu.php

There shouldn't be a white page. That's an error you should fix or you'll
miss our great summary page. :-)

There is no gpg/pgp support in imp currently. But patches are welcome - as
always.
