translate

I need some help to modify a translate in fr_FR : 
when i reply to a message, i have in the first line:
"Surlignage user@domain.fr" and i would like:
"En réponse à user@domain.fr". So i change the file
/horde/imp/po/fr_FR.po and i replace "Surlignage" with
"En réponse à" and i type "make install" but no change
appear with a reply. What is wrong ?
