error adding to address book

hello,

when i try and add an entry to the turba address book from IMP3.0 i get this 
error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: search() in /var/www/mm3k.com/horde/
turba/lib/api.php on line 92
----

I have set up everything as explained in the documentation. Any ideas of why 
the turba app. is still not allowing additions to the database?
