I went through the same experience ...
No idea, really, but I'd say it's an incompatibility between these
two imapd revs.

Test it on the commandline. Perhaps you have to tweak the spell entries in
config/lang.php if you're using another language than English.

Did you provide all necessary parameters in config/horde.php for the
preferences backend?

Because sometimes it takes the language in English and sometime in the
language itself as the argument. And unless someone tell us - how you now
did - we don't know.

Did you set the local timezone in your options? if so does the selected
