I have yet to see this bug - what conditions does it affect?

Adding it to the Horde class is completely inappropriate.

If the bug is widespread I have no problem with the diffs being applied.

The tree view relies on a prefix being an actual parent folder, currently. I 
find it hard to imagine a situation in which this isn't possible or good, but 
if you really need the above to work, I'll take a patch.
