Hemm...
It seems that it already works in this way!
Please forgive me, I used an account that was created BEFORE I set a
default value for the "sent-mail" folder...
Anyway, it seems that there are still some inconsistences in this area.
But this time I want to be more precise, so I'll send an email tomorrow
because now I'm in a hurry.
Bye,

Subject: Automatic filing of mail AFTER being read?
Hi -- I've just migrated to using IMP, so if this is in the code
already, I'd appreciate knowing how to do this.
Back in the day, I used elm, and filed messages after reading them
to folders on a per-user basis. Everything went into my inbox,
and then got moved automatically afterwards.
If the IMP filters could be hacked to
* have a before-read/after-read execution flag
* an action that moves a message from foo@bar.com to
<directory_name>/foo@bar.com
that would make my life easier.
And perhaps if a message gets manually moved to a folder other than
default, it could be logged in the SQL db, so that the next time a message
from that location comes in, the "default" is where the last one
went.
[thank you thank you thank you, by the way -- IMP is orders of
magnitude better than my previous email solution!]
Best Regards,
Patrick
