I'm bringing this exchange back to the list. I'm _aware_ of the problems; 
however, I am simply flat-out busy right now, so if someone wants to see 
progress on this - and I'd love to help make that happen - I need patches 
(preferably) or pseudo code, and _reasonable_ solutions for how to make each 
individual change work in the UI.

I'd love to see someone make progress on this - if you send patches, I'll 
review/commit them; if you send _specific_ suggestions, I'll comment on them.

Instead of using a javascript function to open a new window, use
<a href="foo.htm" target="_blank">

With form submission, always include a submit button.
