IMP 3.0 problem when INBOX is empty

Hi all.
I'm quite new to horde/imp.
Hovever I downloaded .rpm files of imp 3.0 + horde 2.0 + other stuffs to
use in my Linux RedHat 7.2 box.
Everything seems to be ok with the installation and initial configuration 
except when I try to access my INBOX when it is without messages.
In this case a warning message appears:
Warning: Mailbox is empty (errflg=1) in Unknown on line 0
No info that my INBOX is empty: the screen is dark blue and I have to
select the area containing the warning message to see it.
If I select the "inbox" link the screen turns to white and nothing appears 
except in the bottom of the scree where 'horde' 'mail' and 'logout' buttons 
appear.
On the contrary everyting is ok if some messages are present in the inbox.
Using the same account with the demo page at hornde works almost fine: in
fact under the inbox 'link' a statement that 'No messages are in the inbox 
appears most of the time. Sometime however I saw the same warning I have
My settings:
* POP server (Not IMAP) running on a computer *different* from where I run 
horde+IMP
* Horde 2.0 +IMP 3.0 + Mysql (for setting preferences) in a RedHat 7.2 box.
Any other relevant info on request (I really don't know what could be relevant)

The Log class has been moved to the seperate pear repository but 
unfortunately there is no package available for download currently.

So you have to checkout pear also, cd into that directory and run:
pear package Log/package.xml
pear-get install Log-1.0.tgz
