Subject: imap mail

Admittedly - my problem is one of lack of knowledge of the imap server
that I use (wu-imapd) - Redhat 7.2

I also use the computer as my desktop computer which means that I have
many / many subdirectories with files inside them. This is beginning to
cause a problem.

I installed 3.1/2.1 CVS and it took an extremely long time to open the
mail. The folder list is a mile long and lists every file/subdirectory
in my home directory.

I get these types of errors when I click the folders button...

Warning: imap_utf7_decode: Invalid modified base64 character: ` ' in
/var/www/html/horde/imp/lib/Folder.php on line 148

and this would be typical of a great many errors...

and then I get...

The folder ".gnome-desktop/Home
directory/Desktop/http:%2f%2fwww.tvguide.com%2fListings%2findex.asp?I=70740&zip=85251.desktop" contains illegal characters in its name. It may cause problems. Please see your system administrator. [Warning]

Which of course there is a bunch of these two before it lists my
folders/files in my home directory.

If I check off the only files/folders that I am interested in with
imp...and I "Choose Action" - Check files / folder(s) for new mail - it
seems to go on endlessly and nothing seems to be saved.

Is there a better way of dealing with this? (I am gonna post questions
on RedHat's list about configuring the uw-imap for mail directories)
